Did you know that the Passover and Easter holidays are both in the month of April? Passover is April 7-14 and Easter is on April 15.

Passover is the eight day observance celebrating the freedom and exodus of the Israelites (Jewish slaves) from Egypt. Passover is also a time of family gatherings and lavish meals called Seders. With its special foods, songs, and customs, the Seder is the focal point of the Passover celebration. This year, the first night of Passover is Saturday, April 7th.
Easter Sunday is the holiest day of the year for Christians. It is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is not always held on the same date. It can come as early as March 22 or as late as April 25. This year, Easter is on April 15.
