Read this way cool story, Three
Little Puppies and Benji the Bumbling Dragon (PDF 73KB), it's all about the
importance of having working smoke alarms and best of all, it stars the number
one fire safety dog...me!

Try It Yourself
Divide
your group into two teams — same number on each side — and
divide each team into two lines — same number in each line — to
form two bucket brigades. Then have a race. Have each team pass a ball
up the first line from the imaginary water to the imaginary fire and
then back down the second line for a refill of imaginary water. Have
the players
nearest the “water” and nearest the “fire” bounce
the ball once to signal that the “bucket” has reached the
end of the line.
Now try passing the ball around five times — then 10 times. Or
make the game more interesting by using several balls or having each
player
bounce the ball once before passing it on to the next player in line.
Whew! What a way to put out a fire.
You can also play this game with real buckets and real water outside — but, please,
not a real fire.
