Why not make a picture frame for your favorite photo? I made one so I can have
my favorite picture right by my computer. Guess who I put in my frame...ME, of
course!
What
you need: different color construction paper, markers, glitter, glue,
scissors, and a favorite photograph (ask a grown-up to help you select a photo
to use).
P.S. If you don't have a photo, you can draw your own!
What to do:
- Cut a piece of construction
paper to 6" x 8".
- Measure 11/2"
from each side and use a pencil to draw a rectangle.
- Cut out the inside rectangle.
(Hint: make a cut in the middle of the rectangle so that you end up with a piece
of paper with a window.)
- Now it's time to add Sparky
to your picture frame. Using white paper, outline the shape of my head - be sure
to include my ears. Cut out my head, two paws, and two feet.
- Paste the head on the top
of the picture frame.
- Paste the paws on the side
of the picture frame and the feet on the bottom.
- Decorate the head with
spots on the ears (I have five spots on each ear), eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Make a fire helmet using
yellow construction paper with red paper for the stripe.
- Use a black marker to write
"Sparky" on the red stripe.
- Add your favorite photograph
and pick a good spot for your frame.
P.S. -- You can always make another frame with your own
pet instead of Sparky. Find your favorite picture of your furry buddy to put inside.

Send a cool Sparky E-Card to your friends and family. Just click on the stamp
with that very cute Dalmatian on it, me!
